What is HubSpot?
If you’ve spent anytime at all in the marketing world or perhaps doing some marketing for your...
Sales teams work best when they have all the data they need right at their fingertips. When they can quickly access a contact, see how they have interacted with them in the past with the click of a button, and have actionable next steps to help them lead the prospect through the buyers’ journey. Built upon the foundation of its FREE CRM, HubSpot’s Sales Hub does all that and more. HubSpot Sales Hub empowers sales teams to work more efficiently and serve your prospects and clients more effectively.
MPWRSource Client Concierge Lead, Angela Davis, says, “I love using sales hub, it makes my job easier by tracking the deal from the time I start meeting with the client till the time I close the deal. I get to see exactly how long the life cycle is and how many deals are out and in what phases. The reports are great as well because it can show what deals are open and how close I am to my quota.”
Our Chief Growth Officer, Manic Maple, aka, Tiffany Joy Greene, loves its workflows and reporting.
What are my favorite things about HubSpot Sales Hub? It’s so kind of you to ask.
Have you ever had over 1,000 emails in your inbox because you thought they were all so important? I won’t judge you; I have been there! I now take time to categorize emails and file them, but because Sales Hub tracks my sent and received emails for all my contacts, I really don’t have to worry about that anymore. It’s true! When I go to a contact’s information either by searching the contact’s name or by the company name, I can find all the emails we have sent to each other.
Guess what? Anyone in our organization who has access to my contacts can do the same thing. Why would someone else want to see my emails? It would be great if everyone thought I wrote wonderful emails and wanted to see mine to copy them. In the real world, it’s more likely someone may use this option while I’m on vacation or out for an emergency. If a client needed something in my absence, anyone on our team could access what was needed to help.
How many times do you wonder if your email went through to your decision maker, or if that decision maker opened it, or whatever scenario you let yourself imagine. HubSpot’s Sales Hub can tell you that your email was delivered and when it was opened. Sometimes while I’m sending an email, I may be receiving a message from Sales Hub that says “____ opened (email subject)”. In the new age where ghosting seems acceptable to way too many people, I LOVE this feature! I know the person opened the email. If I can tell the emails are being opened, but there isn’t a response, I can move on to someone who is a better qualified or more interested prospect.
I was told that society was going paperless sometime back in the ‘90’s. Yes, I am that old, and no, I haven’t gotten anywhere close to paperless! I still have a desk full of papers, but guess what? I am learning to take notes in the contact records while I’m on the phone with my contacts! I know that isn’t a new feature for any CRM, but now that I actually love using HubSpot Sales Hub, I am more likely to use the basic features like that. It has the cool “bells and whistles” like an app where you can scan business cards from your phone (huge time saver!) It also has tasks that set up reminders (again, no paper list of things to do!) It works seamlessly with apps I already use, like Outlook, so I don’t have to worry about adding all that stuff in my signature line in emails, etc.
Here’s what we have all been waiting for: Sales Hub even has reporting and quotes! What does that mean? You don’t have to spend hours of time trying to come up with a forecast, record how many phone calls you made, emails you sent, and appointments that were held for the week. Finally, someone out there heard us when we said we just want to have conversations with people and not spend all day recording data!! Sure, you may have used a CRM that had some similar features, but the customizable reports and dashboards on HubSpot’s Sales Hub were easy for me to understand on Day 1. Quoting needs to be unique to your business, but isn’t it great to have everything organized in one spot? Can you picture the papers disappearing from your desk as you incorporate Sales Hub? I know, it’s awesome!
Has this crazy job market added sales responsibilities to your position even though you aren’t a salesperson? Do you own a business and therefore sell products? You don’t have to be a salesperson to appreciate the features of Sales Hub. Anyone can benefit from those email features I bragged about so much, and you probably want a great place to keep all your notes organized. When you start utilizing some of the other features like email templates and document management, you may learn to like the sales part of your job a little bit more and see how it is bringing results to your bottom line! We have someone on our squad who isn’t a salesperson, but he benefits from Sales Hub every day. He uses the notes and tracks emails, and it helps our team to have consistency in the way we present to our clients by sharing information here.
My favorite features of HubSpot’s Sales Hub are just the tip of the iceberg!
